UP Presidency: The UP Presidency Through the Decades

This exhibit opens on 14 September at the Bulwagan ng Dangal at 5 PM. The exhibit highlights the role of the UP Presidency in the life of the University as gleaned from the individual visions of the august league of men and woman who steered the institution since 1908 when UP was established.
The exhibit features pictorial documentation of the terms of office of the UP President through the decades through the incumbencies of Murray Simpson Bartlett, Ignacio Borbon Villamor, Guy Potter Wharton Benton, Rafael Velasquez Palma, Jorge Cleofas Bocobo, Bienvenido Ma. Sioco Gonzalez, Antonio Guillermo Sison, Vidal Arceo Tan, Vicente de Guzman Sinco, Carlos Peña Romulo, Salvador Ponce Lopez, Onofre Dizon Corpuz, Emanuel Valdez Soriano, Edgardo Javier Angara, Jose Veloso Abueva, Emil Quinto Javier, Francisco Nemenzo and Emerlinda Ramos Roman.
Highlight of the exhibit is the unveiling of the new presidential portrait of Alfredo Espinosa Pascual.
The exhibit, organized by the UP Diliman Information Office, and the University Library, is curated by Prof. Ruben D.F. Defeo. It runs until 15 October 2011.
