Announcement to Guests
Since 2019, the Bulwagan ng Dangal’s physical exhibition space has been closed to the public indefinitely, to give way to the renovation and retrofitting of the Gonzalez Hall (Main Library).
But the museum has been actively forming and implementing various initiatives in off-site and virtual platforms as it continues to pursue its vision of rendering service to the UP Diliman community.
Below are relevant visitor information while the Bulwagan was in its physical museum space at the South Wing Basement of the Gonzalez Hall. Such information are shared here for the public’s reference only. Upon the museum’s return to the Gonzalez Hall, these information will undergo review and revisions. Please stay tuned for updates about the Bulwagan’s reopening soon.
Visiting Hours
The Bulwagan ng Dangal museum space is open for walk-in visitors from Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM. The museum office is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Both are closed on most holidays.

Visitor Rates
The PhP 50.00 visitor rate for the museum space only applies to individuals from institutions outside of the UP System. Senior citizens and persons with disability/ies may avail a discount upon presenting a valid ID. All members of the UP community (students, faculty, REPS, staff, alumni, and residents) are granted free entry.
Guided Tours
Please send your requests for guided tours around ongoing exhibitions to bulwaganngdangal.upd@up.edu.ph. Kindly mention the date and time of the visit, the number of guests, the purpose of the visit, and the point person’s contact information.
Location
The museum is at the Gonzalez Hall, Main Library building, at the center of the Academic Oval.
Through car:
- From Commonwealth Avenue stay on your right and enter University Avenue, turn right at Roxas Avenue to reach the Gonzalez Hall (UP Main Library), which is located on your left, right after the AS Parking Lot.
- From Katipunan Avenue turn to Magsaysay Avenue, make a left turn at Emilio Jacinto Street, take another left and enter University Avenue, and then turn right to Roxas Avenue to reach the Gonzalez Hall (UP Main Library), which is located on your left, right after the AS Parking Lot.
Through jeepney:
- From Commonwealth Avenue. Take one of the UP campus-bound jeepneys found at the UP Campus-Philcoa terminal. Get off at the corner of Africa St. and Roxas Ave.(near College of Education), and cross Roxas Avenue. Turn left and walk a bit, then turn right at the walkway to the Gonzalez Hall (UP Main Library), which is located to your right.
- From Katipunan Avenue. Get off at the corner of A. Ma. Regidor Street and Roxas Ave. Turn left at Roxas Avenue and walk towards the corner of Africa St., which will be on your right. Cross Roxas Avenue, turn left and walk a bit, then turn right at the walkway to the Gonzalez Hall (UP Main Library), which is located to your right.
Parking
The closest common parking area for the general public is at the AS Parking Lot, which you can access through the Roces Street entryway.
