The Bulwagan ng Dangal holds a number of paintings, sketches, prints, and sculptures by university alumni.
Early exhibitions at the Bulwagan ng Dangal included select artworks from the University Art Collection. The museum’s holdings expanded significantly in 2011 when Prof. Rubén Defeo issued an open call for art donations from the University’s alumni and professors during his term as the museum’s curator.

One of the museum’s articulations of its care for UP Diliman heritage is through caring for its collection.
The Bulwagan ng Dangal takes pride in its art collection that holds works by the country’s National Artists, such as Napoleon Abueva, José Joya, Abdulmari Asia Imao, and Benedicto Cabrera.
The collection also includes a notable selection of social realist works, such as the sixteen-panel work by Pablo Baens Santos, and paintings by Leonilo Doloricon, Imelda Cajipe-Endaya, and Ofelia Gelvezón-Tequí.

Artwork Loans and Photo Reproductions
Institutions outside of the University of the Philippines may loan artworks from the Bulwagan ng Dangal collection for their exhibitions within a specific period. Likewise, the museum has instituted an Art Lending Program that allows units and colleges within UP Diliman to borrow artworks for longer periods of time for the purpose of displaying them in public spaces, such as offices and lobbies. Researchers and institutions may also request for photographic reproduction of artworks in the museum collection.
